ich habe ein Programm gefunden, das ich nicht mehr los werde:
Lavasoft - Adaware Web Companion
Mit 'deinstallieren' wird die Anwendung in der 'Systemsteuerung - Programme deinstallieren' nicht aufgeführt.
Wie kann ich die Anwendung deinstallieren?

Hallo Lao

Dieses unerwünschte Programm müsste der Liste der Apps unter "Web Companion" zu finden sein. Vor der Deinstallation ggf. den laufenden Prozess des Programms im Taskmanager (CTRL+ALT+DELETE) beenden.

Hallo Mario, danke für die Antwort.
mein Problem ist, dass ich die Anwendung auf der Liste der Apps nicht finde, obwohl ich sie unter START öffnen kann.
Hast du eine Ahnung wie in dieser Situation die Anwendung löschen kann ?

Hallo Ruedi

Kill zuerst den Task "Web Companion (32bit)" in Bild 4 (rechte Maustaste und dann Task beenden) und dann klick auf "Deinstallieren" von Bild 1.
Klappt es damit oder gibt es Fehlermeldungen - falls Ja, was für welche?

Es gibt keine Fehlermeldung. Die Anwendung erscheint auf der Liste 'Programm deinstallieren oder ändern' nicht (neues Bild) - ist genau wie vorher auf Bild 2.

Hallo Mario, danke für deine 'Spätschicht',

Nach dem ich bei START unter 'Lavasoft - Web Companion' deinstallieren angeklickt habe, öffnet sich die Systemsteuerung (Bild 5), aber dort ist 'web companion' nicht aufgeführt (auch Lavasoft nicht).

@Geoffrey: Wenn man das Bild im Post 5 anschaut, ist da schon ein Uninstaller aufgeführt...was automatisch zur Frage an Lao führt: Siehst du mit dem auch keinen Eintrag?

Richtig, diesen Deinstall Eintrag sah ich auch. Es schrieb aber, dass ein Klickdarauf zur normalen Systemsteuerung - Programme deinstallieren führt und dort eben kein Eintrag ist.
Deshalb habe ich ihm Revo empfohlen. Vielleicht geht es damit.

Nimm die Gratisversion von Revo Uninstaller Portable, muss nicht installiert werden.
Eventuell funktioniert die Deinstallation mit dem Revo Uninstaller. Falls es klappt melde dich bitte mit dem Resultat.

Falls es aber nicht klappt und dieses Tool den Deinstallationseintrag in der Registry ebenfalls nicht ausliest (wie das Windows 10 Standardwerkzeug Add/Remove Programs) dann kannst Du es noch mit dem "Geek - Uninstaller" versuchen. Habe dieses Tool kurz mit versteckten Registry-Einträgen getestet und in der Liste auch werden auch "versteckte" Programme aufgelistet.

Wenn es damit auch nicht klappen sollte, müssen wir die Uninstall Registry-Einträge genauer unter die Lupe nehmen.

Hallo Mario,
nachdem ich Revo Unistaller Portable geöffnet habe und nicht angezeigt wurde (siehe Bild 6), habe ich es mit https://geekuninstaller.com/geek.zip versucht (Bild 7), auch hier ist die Anwendung nicht aufgeführt.
Übrigens, auch auf meinem 'iObit Unistaller 10' wird die Anwendung nicht aufgeführt.

Kontrolliere die Ordner in \Windows\Programme und \Windows\Programme (x86).
Gibt es dort irgendwo etwas wie "Web Compagnion" oder "Lavasoft" ?
Wenn ja, dann in diesem Ordner nach "Uninstall" suchen.
Und wenn gefunden, probierst du es damit.
Und wenn alles nicht geht, dann killst du mittels Taskmanager den Task "Web Compagnion" und nachdem löschst du den ganzen Orner.

Ob es hilft weiss ich nicht aber es wäre mein Vorgehen in so einem Fall.
Alternativ könnte man auch diesen Lavasoft Ramsch darüber installieren und dann die Deinstallation auf dem normalen Weg probieren.

Ich sehe in den Screenshots immer nur einen Teilbereich, z.B. von Buchstaben N bis W, aber ist unter L wie Lavasoft auch nichts? Nur, um sicherzustellen, dass es da nicht übersehen wurde.

Wenn von A-Z in den Uninstall-Einträgen nichts vorhanden ist kannst Du, falls das Teil immer noch vorhanden ist, die folgende Code Zeile in in einer administrativen "Eingabeaufforderung" (cmd) versuchsweise starten (Befehl für die Deinstallation):

 "C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Web Companion\Application\Installer.exe" --uninstall

Falls das nicht klappt kannst Du noch die nachfolgenden 4 Zeilen in der "Eigabeaufforderung" starten. Diese erzeugen 4 Text-Dateien (hklm-Uninstall.txt, hkwow-Uninstall.txt, hkcu-Uninstall.txt und hkcu-Lavasoft.txt) welche auf Deinem Desktop abgelegt werden. Diese 4 txt- Dateien dann mal hier mal hochladen:

Hallo zusammen,
hatte gestern eine 'Auszeit'.
  • für Gaby Salvisberg: unter "L" Lavasoft war auch nichts
  • für Geoffrey: Malwarebytes hat auch nichts gebracht.
Ich habe deshalb zur 'Radikallösung' gegrifften und den ganzen Ordner [c:proramme (x86)\Lavasoft] gelöscht.
Irgendwelche Reste werden sicher noch irgenwo herumschwirren. Muss ich die Suchen und löschen ? wie?

Danke an alle die mir geholfen haben.

Nachdem ich den 'Lavasoft-Ordner' Total gelöscht habe (Bild 8)
Finde ich nur noch folgende Einträge in der Registry (Bilder 9a + 9b)
Muss ich hier noch etwas tun?
