Weder Norton noch Windows Update möglich

hallo
ich kann keine norton internet security 2009 und windows updates mehr herunterladen. ich benutze vista. ich habe gute verbindung und komme auch mit firefox und ie ins internet. norton zeigt mir immer:"es konnte keine verbindung zum server hergestellt werden. bitte überprüfen sie ihre internetverindung."
was kann ich dagegen tun?

Hast du in der Zwischenzeit nochmals probiert? Evtl. hatte der Server von Norton ein Problem.... Ansonsten würde ich den Thread ins Malware Forum verschieben...

Ich habe den Thread mal verschoben, weil ich vermute, dass dein System mit irgendwelcher Malware verseucht ist. Es sollte sich also bald jemand hier melden, der dir dann weiter helfen kann.

Ich gehe einmal davon aus dass du Originalversion von Norton hast du die Lizenz noch gültig ist.

Dann mach mal folgendes:

Lösche die temp Dateien mit CCleaner:

Scanne mit Malwarebytes, lass das gefundene löschen und poste das Log:
(Vor der Anwendung Update nicht vergessen)

Es kann gut sein, dass etwas in den DNS Einstellungen oder sonst irgendwo nicht stimmt. Aber meistens wird dies, vorallem Verhinderung von Updates, durch Schädlinge verursacht. Ich möchte einfach mal sicher gehen, dass keine Malware auf dem System sitzt. Dannach kann man dann in andere richtungen schweiffen.

Vielleicht noch einen Blick in die hosts Datei werfen (dort steht im Normalfall nebst Kommentaren nur 127.0.0.1 localhost drin.

Die hosts Datei findest du im Verzeichnis c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

Schmeiss die alle raus und lass nur die 127.0.0.1 localhost Zeile drin. Funktionieren die Updates so wieder?

Erklärung:
Mit diesen Zeilen lenkt vermutlich ein Trojanerli alle Anfragen für Windows-Updates bzw Updates von einigen Antivirus-Seiten auf deinen eigenen PC um -> also ins Nichts.

-> du solltest definitiv deinen PC nach Malware untersuchen anhand der Vorschläge, die dir Swisstreasure gemacht hat.
